A preliminary investigation indicated that the explosion was suspected to have been caused by a tenant surnamed Wang illegally storing explosives used for illegal fishing at the property, the statement said.
Residents of nearby residential buildings have been properly accommodated, while an investigation into the cause of the accident and follow-up handling are proceeding in an orderly manner, according to the statement.

值得一提的还有，观察人士则认为各方不需要寄希望于美国“离开以色列很远”，两国之间的关系决定他们完全捆绑在一起，美方只是担心引火烧身而已，不是要和以色列分道扬镳。拜登政府宣布推迟原定于5月8日向美国会提交的一份报告，内容是评估以色列使用美国武器时是否违反美国法律或国际人道法，以后都要“检查”一遍。
